In this program Holly Morris tackles a trek which is considered to be one of the most physically exacting and strenuous mountain biking treks in North America. It traverses steep canyon climbs, mountainous alpine terrain and high arid deserts. On this trek, you go through everything - extreme climate changes, high altitudes and grueling hill climbs. Canoeing the Rio Grande through Big Bend National Park in Texas is like stepping back in time and seeing just how the earth began. Every action packed program features outdoor pursuits, while providing a panoramic view of some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world. In this program Megan McCormick discovers the hidden treasures of the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic. From the history of the slave trade to the delights of the Caribbean Sea, this trek will explore the adventurous nature of this paradise island. This was the first island to import slaves from Africa, to work in the sugar cane fields for the new world. Megan meets the descendents of those slaves, and attends a voodoo ritual - a remnant of African belief. She also climbs the highest mountain in the Caribbean - Pico Duarte, and visits a witch doctor and is given a voodoo spell for protection on her trek.

Every action packed program features outdoor pursuits, while providing a panoramic view of some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world. In this program Eils heads for Manaus, the main city in the Brazilian Amazon - it's a modern, bustling and vibrant city. A centre of culture and trade, it is built on the riches of the forest which surrounds it.
From here, Eils travels west along the Rio Negro to the flooded forest of the Anavilhanas Islands for a firsthand look at the wildlife.
Next, Eils heads back to Manaus to fly 250 miles south to Novo Ariapuana to meet Dr. Marc Van Roosmalen, a dutch biologist who has discovered a new species of dwarf monkey. She also attends a painful initiation ritual on the outskirts of the city, home to the indigenous Satare Maue people. Finally, she takes a boat and travel east along the Amazon River to Puraquequara, where she undergoes some outdoor training and learns if she has what it really takes to survive in the jungle.

Every action packed program features outdoor pursuits, while providing a panoramic view of some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world. In this program Bradley Cooper has his adventure set out for him on this trip - it's the time of year for kayaking a premiere river in the United States - the Gauley. Every October, the Gauley's dam is released, making it a huge challenge for even the best kayakers. It's known as the Gauley Season and it draws river rafters and kayakers from all over the world for the thrill of experiencing Class IV and V rapids. Holly Morris has her own physical endurance levels to deal with as she makes her way by packhorse through the Sangre de Cristo mountains in southern Colorado. After meeting up with a Vietnam vet-turned buffalo rancher, Holly finds that just getting to the snow line isn't enough. Even an impending blizzard doesn't deter her as she dons snowshoes and makes the long trek up to Lake Goodwin.

Every action packed program features outdoor pursuits, while providing a panoramic view of some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world. In this program, after trying her hand at sand dune surfing, Holly Morris heads down the Banks aboard a 19th century traditional skiff and attempts to dive a few of the many hundreds of wrecks that have made this area known as the 'Graveyard of the Atlantic'. Not just home to Yogi Bear, Yellowstone is also home to some pristine wilderness that is only accessible by horse. Christina LaMonica also heads over to see some of the natural geysers that make Yellowstone one of the truly great wilderness areas of the U.S.A. Holly Morris joins third-generation cowboys to drive herds of cattle across the plains of Wyoming and up into the higher mountainous plains for the winter. Holly's expert horse skills come in handy on this trek - it's four days in the saddle - something not everyone is cut out to do!
