Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men, and it is also one of the most treatable. This program tells the story of two prostate cancer patients for whom early detection was the key to successful treatment. Unfortunately, many men are too embarrassed to get the necessary exam and put the tests off until it's too late. The program also features a patient with bladder cancer. Treatment of bladder cancer is explained, and the role of smoking as the cause of nearly half of all bladder cancer deaths among men is examined.
