COMPLEMENTARY CHILDCARE: WEIGHT
Dr. Wynnie Chan, a Nutritionist and best selling author (Food and Diet Counter), guides us through this program that looks at weight and obesity. Health professionals are increasingly concerned about the problem of obesity, not only because of physical problems involved, but also for emotional problems as well.

In Part 1, we meet Susan Astbury and her pre-teenage son, Rollo, who is teased and bullied in school because of his weight problem. Max Tomlinson, a Naturopath, takes us through all the steps of proper nutrition he uses to help Rollo overcome his unhealthy eating habits.

In Part 2, we meet Nicola Taal, her son, William, and Diana Wright, a Clinical Nutritionist, who helps guide the boy to healthier eating by limiting sugar and preservatives in his diet. Next we meet Gill Glark, the Head Teacher, and students, Tarik Minogue and Rebecca Hamett, of the Green Acres School, where physical activities and healthy eating are promoted daily.
