During the 90s and noughties, the chant of 'King Kahn' would regularly resound around stadiums across Germany. The royal nickname bore fitting tribute to the first class goalkeeping talents and formidable frame of Oliver Kahn, who also became known as the Titan. After distinguishing himself on the field for more than 20 years, he retired from professional football in 2008.
