Whether children play indoors or outdoors it is always important they remember to play safely. In this story Harey the hair-brained rabbit make-believes he's a pirate searching for lost treasure. Unfortunately, he lets his imagination get carried away and forgets to be safe in a number of different indoor and outdoor situations.
The four safety lessons identified by Safety Educator Alyssa Kelly include:
1. Choose to play in areas that are safe and have enough room.
2. Never rush down stairs, and always hold on to the hand railing.
3. Be extremely careful in a garden shed.
4. Never touch any electrical cable.
