Jake In Texas - 11-year-old Jake lives on a typical cattle ranch in Texas called La Paloma. Here they care for 500 breeding stock that each produce one calf every year. Jake's dad, a real cowboy, is going to help saddle up Jake's horse so they can head out on the range. Today Jake will learn lasso roping. Being a rancher is hard work but Jake loves the challenge. At the end of the day, sitting around the campfire, there is no question for Jake, life is good on their ranch in Texas.
