Do you remember what it's like not to fit in, and how uncomfortable or even sad that made you feel? That's something most of us experience, especially when we're children. Fortunately, there are two little magic words that can help any one of us who faces that situation: Thomas Comma. This expertly animated program, produced by Emmy Award Winner Ken Kimmelman (Sesame Street; Doug; The Heart Knows Better), tells the story by the author/poet Martha Baird (The Comma That Didn't Belong Anywhere) of a lonely, little comma who just didn't seem to fit in anywhere. But in the end, Thomas, determined to find his place in life, teaches us all to believe in ourselves, to face moments that challenge us, and to never accept that we won't find our place eventually. As we happily discover here, among a variety of grammatical and literary references that will delight and enlighten viewers along the way, Thomas Comma finds his place in the perfect sentence, and that's a life lesson good for all of us.
