Haute Couture is the Acropolis of fashion. It is majestic, impressive and somewhat in ruins - but it remains a symbol. Its biggest shortcoming is that not many people really know what Haute Couture is anymore, often confusing it with luxury Ready-to-Wear. So what exactly is Haute Couture?
"It is doxa, a guarantee of quality, a Parisian tradition, a fashion reserved for an elite, a price range, clients, couturiers (and no longer creators), and a media platform.
