SAFE TRANSFERS AND REPOSITIONING
This 'Train-The-Trainer' safe-lift program will help to reduce resident and staff injury when transferring and repositioning patients. Using a team-oriented approach, the program demonstrates how too safely:
~ reposition a resident in bed
~ turn a resident over
~ transfer a resident from a bed to a wheelchair
~ transfer a resident from a wheelchair to a toilet
Also shows how to use the traditional gait belt and the transfer walking belt with handles.
