This documentary by Loic Prigent (Director of "Sign¨¦ Chanel" and "The drawings of Yves Saint-Laurent" will be a creative biography of the man who conquered the entire world with his first collection at the start of 1947: the controversial New Look. His drawings will be animated and commented by contemporary audio archives - replacing the audience in the social context of the 50s.
With interviews of fashion historians, friends of the designer but also dressmakers who are working with Dior or even stars who exemplify the brand today: Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson or Jennifer Lawrence have succeeded the previous icons like Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth orˇ Marlene Dietrich - who only wore Dior!
