Dermot in Australia - My name's Dermot and I live on Idalia, a farm in the middle of the Australian bush. I'm seven, but I already know how to drive, even cars. Driving is very important on my farm because it's so big and it's very isolated. The nearest village is 40 away on a dirt road, so I have to be able to do things all by myself. On my farm, we raise sheep. We have tens of thousands of them. The dogs are a great help to us. My Dad says a dog is worth at least two men for herding sheep. We shear them for their morino wool. What's really great about our farm in Australia is that we live outdoors most the time. And after a good day's work, there's nothing nicer than eating in the open air. Barbecues are my specialty.
